I would like to do this on the net. Its the future.
Number one question is how to go about it.

Biggest concern is how to avoid theory experts, rip off artists and fakes, and get involved in something which is win win situation for all concerned rather than just the organizer.

  10. Ping Xu Says:

Biggest goal at 8/5/08 is self sufficient.
No.1 concern is not clear about the legal requirement for importing from China. For example, I saw a lot of slippers are slipper than the samples we made. I don’t understand why they all can be for sale here in UK but our samples failed SGS test.
No.1 question is how to get funding from the bank once I get the order.

  11. Rose Gowans Says:

Biggest goal would be to earn enough money to give
freedom of choice without having to work around the clock to achieve. Once reached that stage would turn whole thing around and give back to those who were stuggling to do same.

Why do 98% of people fail online

People leaving out the missing piece of the jigsaw when offering a product. People becoming leaders overnight when only just getting into business.

  13. Peter Moore Says:

Biggest goal: To make £100,000 a year working from home.

Number one concern: Losing a lot of money instead of making any.

  14. Val Evans Says:

My biggest Goal is to create an income stream that I can operate from anywhere in the world from my laptop that is producing in excess of £10k per month profit.

I want to achieve total financial freedom to build up a property portfolio and to purchase my own properties in both england and portugal. I want to have at least £2million cash available in the bank with all my cars and properties owned. I have given myself a 10 year window as I will semi-retire at 55 - totally financially independant. I want to be in a position to give back to the world by providing safe housing for abused children and their families and to be able to offer encouragement and opportunities to these children.

I also want the time to develop my own “secret” project that has been on the back burner for 5 years, and this in turn will help anyone with a weight problem. Currently I am too busy keeping my head above water in this treadmill world of transport and removals, along with all the headaches of increasing costs of overheads and staff!!!
One of my concerns is that I am not particularly familiar with the internet search engines and setting up websides etc. so I am a bit of a techno-phobe. I have the passion and determination to succeed - I just need guidance, patience and a mentor that can speak to me in plain yorkshire!!! So my question would be how do I get started, how do I choose my market and I know that you have all the answers and I want to attend your £100k workshop and get going - I am just concerned that this will be very time consuming for little reward (yet again!!!!!)
My biggest concern is that I am on a limited budget and tTat I buy a whole load of stock that I cannot shift. I have a warehouse and the means to store goods, ship them and dispatch them - I am even in the lucky position of dealing with shipping agents in the removal industry.

  28. Ian Bainbridge Says:

I have just very recently got onto your list, so I am just starting to get to know you and your approach. The fact that your are at the same end of the country caught my eye. I have tried all sorts of different online schemes and I have failed at all except Amazon bookselling. The bookselling brings in about £40 a week and like a lot of these things, requires a disproportionate amount of time. My main goal would be to be to be in a position where there is more money coming in than is going out without doing the weekly car boots that are killing my wife and I. My number one question would be:In the past I have put hard work into various schemes but I always worry that even after making no or very little money, when is the right time to bail out? I usually give up after a couple of weeks, is this too soon? I suppose my second question would be: I’ve always been scared to buy into any scheme that costs more than £40 because of the fear of failure and the knowledge of how hard it was to get the money in the first place. is this why I fail? i.e. is it the more you spend the better the scheme or could it be as I fear, the more you spend the more you lose?. The more I think about all this, the more my head spins and spins, which is probably my biggest concern.

  29. Oliver OLivagi Says:

hi Dave! Thank you so much for the free course on the internet import business. I enjoy going through each lesson. It’s all so exciting and I am grateful to you. I do hope to start up my own import business soon, with your help, I hope.

Thanks again Dave and speak soon.

  32. Yorick Says:

    Biggest Goal & Achievement
To be financially sound for our families to have the good things in life and not struggle like my parents did working 40 hours plus

    No.1 Question
How do I get a genuine product at the lowest cost to maximize our profit, who are the good suppliers?

    No. 1 Concern
Buying from Far East thinking you are getting the real thing after doing all the checks, but getting a Mickey Mouse product that we had to pay upfront for, that you would feel guilty selling anybody else as it could damage your reputation before you start, to find when that when import duties are added its not that cheap after all or people on eBay are selling it cheaper than you can get the product.

  33. igor griffiths Says:

What is your biggest Goal, what would you like to achieve in your business and life?

All I want is a comfortable life without breaking into a sweat at the mention of spending. On the business side it would be great to get a smooth running business with a regular income stream.

What is your number one Question? Having had my fingers burn previously with China imports, what are the best ways to ensure that the desired product is not an imitation of a brand.

What is your Number One Concern? The hidden costs of importing from China, not easy to calculate these.

  34. Oliver OLivagi Says:

  37. Mara Says:

    Hi,
1 question: ?? my biggest goal right now is to find the right product to put on my website with no complications and almost not money require.

3 question: How would I be able to trade would wise. (find a product that I can sale in Brazil for exemplo).

My main concern is finding the right products.

  39. Thomas Says:

My main concerns with regards to starting my own online business are:-
    1. To have a successful business requires a certain amount of knowledge and application. What do I need to know in order to have a successful online business? What are the steps to follow and is there a logical order to teh steps to be followed?
    2. What attributes do you need to have in order to be succeed in an online business?
    3. What are the potential pitfalls to watch out for?

I believe that if the above were answered then I would have the roadmap to making a success of this. I already earn 10K a month so am looking for more than that and the freedom that comes with being an entrepeneur.

  40. Thomas Says:

To learn the business properly so I can support my family and be able to give them the best life possible` My achievable goal would be to be financially secure within three to five years and not be too old to enjoy life with my youngest son` I am grateful to be given this opportunity to learn from someone who has been there and done it so i don’t and hopefully not make too many costly mistakes along the way` My main concern about just starting out with an online business is the website side of it` especially promoting and doing it properly if you cannot do this right failure is sure to follow.

What is your number one Question?
How to get started. Can I set up something so I don’t have to be packaging and posting, or do I have to build up the business first by doing everything myself?

What is your Number One Concern?
Competition - I don’t want to buy in products and then find them on sale in Tesco for less!

  43. arif rahim Says:

I am interested in selling trailers on line.
How do you set up an online business even if i am not tech sawvy. I am businessman not a technical person who can set up websites. Want to see items by finding right items that have a big demand.

I am obviously doing sometrhing wrong.

  48. Jeni Says:

    Hi Dave
Well my answers are very much the same as everyone else.
    1. Be debt free and give my family the help and support they need
    2. How on earch do I get all the technical stuff to stay in my head?
and finally 3, who’s hiding the crystal ball?
Seriously, it’s hard work to find the right product/supplier and I spend hours and hours researching on the internet. But it is SO easy to get ripped off. It seems that if you’re prepared to be underhand in your business practices you make money and if you’re honest you don’t. We live in a strange world but most of us just want to make a decent living, but its becoming increasingly difficult. Having said all of that I’m absolutely determined to be a success, I will do it - or at least die trying!! Good luck to everyone and I hope you get want your heart desires, be prepared to work hard, don’t get discouraged and importantly…stick at it!

    3) How to sustain in that market once the ball get’s rolling ?

  53. Mo Says:

Biggest goal would be financially free.
my main worries are being scammed!!! and lack of Technical knowledge.

  54. Clive Says:

To be financially independant doing the things that I enjoy.
Concerns- Spending too much time getting started on a new business that is unlikely to ever provide the above.

How and who can you trust in this selling solutions world that we now have?

  55. Bill March Says:

    Hi Dave

    1. I would ideally love to start my own business and achieve financial independence especially if this can be done from home. I have looked at many business opportunities over the past 2 – 3 years and being able to run a profitable website is by far the most appealing due to low overheads etc. Who wouldn’t want to work from home!???

    2. Can setting up a profitable website be done? Setting up a website seems easy as can be seen when looking on the net. My main concern with regard to a web based business is the amount of websites on the net. Millions if not billions and this makes marketing a daunting task.

    3. My main concern is finding someone you can trust with regard to helping set up a website. There is a multitude of people out there who promise to deliver the advice, help and technical expertise but you hear of so many people failing and being ripped off.

    Bill

    Regards

    Antony

  60. Austine Says:

Thank you for your regular emails. I have found a number of your free tips very useful. It has shaped my understanding and perspective on import and internet marketing. Thanks.

I need to start an end-to-end business that requires minimal ’sustained’ input from me. I am prepared to put in a lot of work at the begining, but would prefer a self-running business when it becomes fully operational.

No1 Concern: marketing methods and facilities are increasing so fast it is difficult to know what to try, what works and what dosen’t without spending loads of money

  63. Richard Says:

    Hello Dave,
I have just retired, sold up and am sitting in my villa in Spain. I am painfully aware that my pension will not match my aspirations so I need to find an additional source of income. My major worry is that I am not an internet expert and might put in a lot of time, effort and expense to find that I am not generating the income I need. Also I need to be able to run any business from my Spanish villa without the need to be in the UK all the time.
I will be most interested to see how things progress.
    Regards
    Richard

(2)I would like to give my family a better lifestyle than they have now ie take a holiday once in a while and still earn while Im on holiday.
(3)Generally not have finance worries and actually enjoy what Im doing.(which I cant say I do now.)

  69. Adrian Says:

Goal:- To create sufficient continuous income to provide the ‘bread and butter’ leaving my choice in the ‘cream’ and to compensate for a lack of pension.
Question:- How do I find niche markets?

  70. Shona Says:

My goal is financial freedom, to have paid all debts off within 6 - 12 months. To give my family a more stable secure life (particularly in these uncertain times).
My number one question is how do I find my niche product.
My main worry or concern is who do you trust? As so many sites make wonderful claims, but underneath they don’t produce.

  71. Paul Says:

    Answers to questions in order.

1/ To have confidence and sufficient income to give up work and make my family financially secure now and in the future.

2/How do I attract would be purchasers.

3/Is my goal realistic with an internet import business.

  72. Dennis Jewitt Says:

My goal (which didn’t print above) is to make £10K per month to create independence and my concern is how to avoid wasting any further money and time on incomplete and unworable schemes

  73. james Says:

Hi Dave,my goal in life is to achieve a millionaire lifestyle which i have come to realise doesn’t necessarily mean having a million in the bank although that would be very nice as well. With that kind of lifestyle every other desire falls into place such as no mortgage, holidays when you feel like it,being able to help friends and relatives at a drop of a hat without having to think about it etc…and not necessarily having a Ferrari on the drive. Can this business help me achieve this?

  75. Rick Brown Says:

I appologise now for my moaniong below….

Biggest goal…to find a plan that can actually earn you the promised ammount advertised.

Question..with every man and his dog importing from China, has the get rich from importing scheme died?
Also, all these drop ship companies springing up, who actually charge you the same costs that you would pay if you bought the same items from the high street, has the drop ship scheme had it’s day??

Concerns..I am loosing my trust in a lot of so called mentors ( not you Dave ) who prey on the people who are most vunerable, the people who want more than anything to improve their live and the lives of their families. The people who would beg, borrow or steal the cost for that golden piece of advise. The advise that can change their lives.
Every day I recieve a get rich scheme promising vast ammounts of money, it seems to be a get rich business in itself. Earning money from peole who want to earn more money, how ironic.

  76. Narinder Bains Says:

Like most people i would like to know how to start. To take that first step.Which would be better Dropshipping or Importing?

    Great idea this

    Narinder

    1) Goal is to make 10k profit per month from a location independent business that permits me enough free time to pursue the things I am passionate about
    2) Biggest question is where to start when trying to source products that will sell well at a decent profit. 3) I seem to spend hours and hours finding a product that will sell, only to find that a) the supplier is a scammer or unreliable or b) total cost of the product after shipping & VAT comes in at around the same or more than others are already selling it at on ebay.

  79. jp Says:

How do you find the right suppliers when there are so many middle men out there?
How can you get the best deals on real branded products to be able to undercut the competition?
How many hours a day should I be spending to enable me to be financially independent and be able to support the family being my own boss?

  80. Chris Capman Says:

1, Enough money to never own an alarm clock.
2, How to find a decent agent in China
3, Spending a fortune on stock with no one to buy it.

  81. Tandi Rouse Says:

1)My biggest goal in business is to work for myself and making enough money to live comfortably. I would like to start a family soon so I want to be around as much as possible.
2)My number one question is .. I would like to move abroad, how would you run an online business based in the UK when you live elsewhere or when when you go on holiday?
3)My concerns, its all exciting and almost seems too good to be true at the moment as am following all the steps but the big thing is “will it actually work” …. we shall see!!!!

  82. Haydn Says:

    1. The biggest concern is how to find that product that will work, and in turn prevent spending on something that turns out to be a white elephant. Looking at all the products out there that are available, it appears impossible that there is still something viable that will make money and sell itself.

    2. Where to start. I have the info, but it is a big world out there, and getting started is really scary!

  83. Joanne Says:

GOALS- My goals are to grow successful niche businesses online, starting with dropshipping then importing. I think if learnt correctly, financial benefits will follow, leading to more holidays and time with family.
QUESTION- How would you fully optimise the earning potential of a web site? eg. google ads, promote ebooks, opt-in list, etc.
QUESTION- How do you avoid ‘The Curse of the Greenback’
When do you draw the line and say NO MORE MONEY!… and go on a long holiday?
CONCERNS- Running an online business in a foreign language and time management, I think initially there will be a lot of time invested for setting up, then it’s a case of being incredibly organised.

  84. Aysha Says:

my biggest goal is make more sells and have more traffic but big concern is shipping

  86. Michael Richardson Says:

I have about five years to go before I retire from this rat race called work. I have been in business working for my self in the past, and the usual thing happened I was to soft with my customers. I let things go by and gradualy I was starting to get into debt. How ever with Dave’s experience and knowledge in this field, my No 1 and main concern is I do not waste any more money and time on dead end products. Then I can retire a happy man.

  87. KEVIN PERRY Says:

I AGREE WITH RICK BROWN AND HIS COMMENTS EVERDAY ,YOU GET POST FROM NEW WOULD BE MENTORS,ALL TOO WILLING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT REALLY COMING UP WITH THE GOODS,AM JUST ABOUT TO CANCEL A STANDING ORDER TO ONE OF THEM ,HAVE BEEN GETTING MONTHLY MODUELS FOR OVER A YEAR AT 30.00 A TIME AND AM STILL NONE THE WISER…

  88. Lea Allen Says:

    1. Biggest Goal - initially to pay off the mortgage and be able to work from home & part time. Financial Independence & Security!

    2. Number one question - how to create a successful profitable business.

    3. Number one concern - investing money in goods that you subsequently you can’t sell in volume, therefore making a loss.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Lea

i would like to be able to get a nice car a nice home and to not have to work i would like to bulid up an income to £10,000 per week

  90. patrick mccafferty Says:

My biggest goal is to prove to myself i can be succesfull.
My definition of success is to be debt free, have several properties, run a chain of stores similar to jjb,s, as this is my goal, i love selling anything to do with sportswear or sports goods, ie football, golf, tennis, etc, and from there being involved in sports agency.
there are many many goals i have, and i am 35 now, and have a maximum 15, 20 year to reach them.

MY NUMBER 1 QUESTION is i have been tring for 12 year now to become successful.
I have paid £1,000 for a 1 to 1 consultation with a millionare, i have read 50 books, think and grow rich, secrets of the millionares, etc, and still have not made it YET, WERE AM I GOING WRONG?

MY CONCERN IS THAT once i reach 55, 60, and still have not made it, i will be really dissapointed in myself, and will not have the time that i have now to turn it all around.

  91. Rob mcintyre Says:

i am sick and tired of working in dead end jobs and working long hours for little return.when i saw this opportunity i thought it was too good to miss. however i seem to be struggling with the setting up of the website which seems ridiculously complicated as i,m not that much of a computer whizz.i really want to make a go of this and failure is not an option . i notice there,s lots about the niche product but all popular items sell well or so it seems to me on checking terrapeak etc. i would have loved to have gone to the 100k workshop to get off to a flying start but unfortunately if i did then i would be penniless .

  92. andrea Says:

Fistly I would like to acheive a steady income stream and progress from selling small amounts on ebay to regular amounts.
To be able to use my sales as my main income.
Long term I would like to be able to run this from anywhere I chose to live.

  93. Adrian (South London) Says:

I share many of the concerns listed above but in a nut shell I am still looking for a realistic step by step plan that delivers a ongoing income for my family to provide better than they have and at least what they deserve.

  94. Caroline Muhamad Says:

To work from home would be great. It is a little overwhelming all the information, though I am quite determined.I am a little concerned my knowledge of computers is limited.I am also not wanting to jump in quick and lose money through wrong choice of niche product.[finding it hard to find product with high demand and small supply].

  95. Sarah Says:

how do you start something that is no risk in the short term? ie with only a few hundred pounds and then go from there.

  96. M. Iqbal Says:

My biggest goal (which i suppose is something i have in common with so many other people in this blog) is to set up a successful on-line business which would make me a profit of a few thousand pounds per month. The biggest problem i have is not knowning exactly where and how to start. I’ve read a lot of theory but thats all its been so far! i need a lot of practical help & guidance.
Question: Finding a niche market is a great idea but how do you in practical terms, research the market?
Concern: Wasting precious time and money chasing schemes that sound brilliant in theory but almost near impossible to acheive in practice.

  97. Howard Thomas Says:

No 1 aim/objective is to earn enough in the next few years to pay off all my debts, which are numerous.

No 1 question is what are the best products/services to offer that don’t require much, if anything, in the way of up-front cash.

No 1 concern is how can I get started on whatever with no up-front cash for initial investment.

  98. Ian McGee Says:

    Hi Dave,
Biggest goal,I have given alot of time to helping others in the NHS,I would love to go part time and pursue my burning desire to build something for myself where i could help others by my success..hope not too ‘corny’ but true. I thought Dave was offering something real and honest and sadly missing in other opportunities.
Question: I feel there is alot to learn..website,writing copy, finding the right products? is it difficult to acheive the skills without making to many mistakes? and how long did it take you in making
    your business successful.
Biggest Concern: ‘giving up’ after trying because you have no one to bounce idea’s off or get advice and sadly the materials get put on the shelf.
Idea: Offer members the chance of a forum to talk to each other exchange help and advice could really help as some people are on their own.
    Thank-you ian

  99. Roger Loveless Says:

My aim is to achieve sufficient income to give us a better life style (Financial freedome). To be done in a short period of time say 18 months or before?

How to trade in high value items, without a large capital outlay?

    Finding reliable dropshippers?

  100. Brian Barrie Says:

Hi Dave another tremendous idea you have come up with, from reading the comments already most people are looking to achieve the same goals (money and lots of it). I have found over the last 2-3 months that a lot of research is required, however I always seem to end up in the same situation who is scamming and who is legitimate. How do you source your products and when do you know who is 100% trustworthy. How do you decide what will sell and what will not.
Do all Chinese businesses always require money up front and is it in your past experience that they are always looking customers to pay by Western Union or TT, paying this way does not give you any guarantees……
Dave I look forward to reading your helpful tips and wish you continued sucess

    Brian

  102. Susan Smith Says:

    Hi Dave,

My concerns are how how to cut through all the hype and false promises made by these internet gurus about you can make millions from online marketing. I don’t want millions but just want to earn a couple of thousand extra a month - anything else would be a bonus. I’ve got realistic expectations bit am worried that the market is already saturated with people importing from China. To be honest the thoughts of trying to sell anything on ebay fills me with dread as the world and his wife have jumped on that bandwagon. I’m not a pessimist but is there really anything left to sell that
hasn’t already been done to death? You can see I really need your help Dave!!

  103. Jim Says:

    Hi Dave.
Goal. As retirement looms (albeit with a decent pension)I would like enough to pay for the refurbishment of our French Holiday home and run the business from there.
Question.I think dropshipping is the way to go, how easy would it be to run from outside the UK.
Worry. Another internet disaster which would drive my wife round the bend.

  104. Anba Poobarlan Palanee Says:

My biggest goals is to work for myself and achieve financial independence. In Business I would like to set up different income streams to maximise profit.
My number one question is how do I find the ultimate ‘hot selling product’ and how to get people to but it.

  105. colin M Says:

my goal is to do something that i have decieded to do, which earns me a good living and affords me the time to enjoy my life, the problem is having the mindset that change is ok and achievable and can be for the better, it is all about taking that first tangible step.

  106. Mukesh Says:

My ultimate main goal is a millionaire lifestyle eventually, however at present it would be to establish a continuous second income stream that will be in the excess of £10K pm.
I would like to be shown how to easily get started, to establish a good nich product range, and to establish and maintain good revenue from this type of business.
My main concern, would be how I can confidently run a business of this nature, whilst at present being limited in technical internet knowledge.
How do I effieciently research a source suitable products and turn it quickly around into sales and finally good profit.

  107. mark james Says:

    My core questions would be
    finding the niche/niches
finding good drop ship suppliers who can fulfil that niche
Ongoing optimisation of margin of these and new products

  108. Bryan Hagon Says:

My biggest goal is to substitute an eBay/website operation for my Painter/Decorator business by building my site(s)and gently getting out of painting and decorating. My biggest question is how to get hold of ‘reputable’ dropshippers. I have already desided on what I want to sell!! Bryan

  109. Mike Shipley Says:

    Hi Dave,
Very interesting reading the many answers you’ve received and mine are very similar.
    What is my biggest goal?
I had my own manufacturing business up until January of this year when it went bust and I lost over £200,000.
Therefore my biggest goal in the next 3-6 months is not that I would like to earn £5,000 a month, I have to earn £5,000 a month to cover my outgoings and the debt I have incurred due to my business going bust.

Within 12 months I want to be earning between £5,000 and £10,000 a month which will mean I will be able to stay in the house we have at the momment and then have a chance of paying off the massive mortgage I have due to financing my business. This will be such a relief for my wife who has been so supportive over the last very stressful years.

I know that once my income is in excess of my outgoings then money will make money and my first goal then is to achieve an income that will guarantee finacial freedom for my wife and my two sons and then I’ll order the Aston Martin.

What is my no. 1 question?
Since I signed up with you and thanks for all your emails which have been very encouraging, I have been selling a very niche product on ebay that I created with my manufacturing company and although in my first month sales were only £500 this will increase.

So my no.1 question is how to find more niche products and what can you do to help and what will it cost?

What is my No. 1 concern
Getting up to an intial income of £5,000 a month a fast as possible with some good niche products.

I hope I qualify for the free place on the Webinar and l look forward to receiving more details.
    Best Wishes. Mike

    Hi,
My goal is to continually achieve in excess of at least £5k per month. I have the freedom to spend quality time with friends and family have enough money so I do not have to work for anyone else and be debt free.
If give the right direction, I have the skills to put in to place, but I want to know that I have right products and the right niche markets.

Reading all of the comments from everyone; they are all searching for product…. I have decided to create my own variants but still have the same issues of getting a manufacturer, importing and creating a market via a website. There seem to be so many people chasing that golden product…. would really appreciate your help…. thanks!

  118. Thomas Payne Says:

My biggest question would be in relation to finding a niche -once I’ve found somehting, how can I be certain it will sell. Wordtracker might tell me people are searching in that area, but how can I distinguish between a high volume of information seekers and a high volume of potenial buyers?

  119. Tyrone Says:

Ive just been sent a letter from a solicitor saying ive infringed a companies trade marks, with a fine attached and threatning more costs if its not dealt with by early June.
How can we tell who are real, and who are fake.
How can we all become financially independant if we all chase the same goal.
How is it possible to make enough money, to be free of the 9 to 5 job that we need to live and survive, and still have enough money left over to pay for items we are unsure about.
Thanks for your time and help
